Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Tiverton supporting the Holsworthy Mayor's Charities 2024-2025
At Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Tiverton, we love to see our local communities come together to make a real difference – and what better way to do that than with a night of music, dancing, and fundraising!
In March 2025, the Holsworthy Memorial Hall played host to an incredible Elvis Tribute Night, held to raise funds for the Mayor’s Charities 2024/2025. The event featured none other than the UK’s No.1 Elvis Tribute Act, Andy James, whose world-class performance brought the King of Rock ’n’ Roll back to life. His electric show was supported by DJ Pasty, keeping the crowd on their feet all night long.
The event was a sell-out success, raising over £2,000 for two fantastic local causes – the Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society (HATS) and the Friends of Holsworthy Primary School. Thanks to the generosity of the Benefact Group, the funds were match funded, doubling the total donation to an amazing £4,000!
In May 2025, Ian Parker from the Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Tiverton office visited Holsworthy Town Council to present the giant ceremonial cheque.
Reflecting on the evening, Ian said:
“It was a fun night of dancing, great food from Beatz Cookin Kitchen and Cyprus Grill, and a brilliant way to fundraise for great causes. I’m usually out visiting farms across Devon to support them with risk evaluations and specialist agricultural insurance, but it was fantastic to be involved in something so community-focused.
