On 20th March, Faith in Families held a 90’s-themed fundraising Charity Ball. Chris Mills, Head of Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Swansea and Operations Team Leader, Neena Patel got involved in the Ball by supporting the ‘Play Your Cards Right’ game on the night; selling raffle tickets, going on stage to pick the winners, and presenting the prizes! Having raised an impressive £4,870 for the charity, which was then fund matched by the Benefact Group to make a grand total of £9,740, the funds will be used for continuous support for local communities and families who need a helping hand.
Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Swansea has supported Faith in Families for the past two years. They are regular volunteers in their Cwtch Mawr hub in Swansea and have done multiple charity events as an office to raise funds, including the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge. The money raised helps local children, families, and the running and stocking of local food hubs. Supporting Faith in Families is a privilege for the team at the Swansea-based insurance broker, with one of their employees stating:

As volunteers, being able to contribute even in a small way and see the positive impact on people’s lives is incredibly rewarding.
