At Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Swansea, supporting the local community is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back, the Swansea team recently partnered with St Thomas Church Swansea, continuing our proud tradition of helping those in need and fostering stronger community ties across South Wales.
How did we offer “bags of support” during Christmas 2023?
St Thomas Church Swansea is well known for its welcoming, family-oriented approach and dedication to serving the people of the East Side of the city. Through its food bank and community hub, the church provides essential supplies, baby basics, and practical assistance to individuals and families in crisis. The church also runs numerous outreach programmes throughout the year, including seasonal initiatives that bring hope and comfort to those facing difficult times.
Our St Thomas Church Swansea charity support took place when we helped collect donations and pack over 4,000 festive blessing bags filled with food, sweet treats, and toys. During the weeks leading up to Christmas, these bags were distributed, with the help of Message Trust, to families in deprived areas and facing challenging circumstances.
This partnership embodies the essence of corporate social responsibility at Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking, reflecting our belief that successful businesses have a duty to uplift the communities they serve. By working closely with local businesses supporting Swansea churches, we are setting an example of how meaningful collaboration can make a real difference.
