In June this year, local insurance brokers, Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking, took on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in support of charities close to the hearts of their Swansea team. Over two days, a team of 24 individuals linked to Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon to raise funds for Joseph’s Smile, Prostate Cymru, Townhill Community School, Ben Saunders Foundation, Helping Homeless Veterans UK and Clwb Pel-Droed Trawsblaniad Cymru (Wales Transplant Football Team).
The money raised will help organisations providing vital support to children and families affected by cancer and bereavement, transplant survivors and their families, homeless veterans, and pupils at Townhill Community School – one of the most deprived communities in Swansea.
Chris Mills, Anthony Fox, and Ollie Churches from Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Swansea were among those taking part in the challenge, raising an incredible £4,006. Thanks to fund matching from the Benefact Group (Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking’s parent company), along with additional sponsorship, the total raised reached an outstanding £8,302.

The funds raised will help charities continue providing essential services, including counselling, treatment, housing, clothing and basic toiletries, supporting people facing difficult circumstances every day.
