My career started at Municipal Mutual Insurance before launching my own business, Northcott Beaton in 1990 with my lifelong friend and colleague Keiron Northcott.

I like keeping a constant eye on a fast-changing industry, researching new products and innovation gives me an unrivalled and diverse knowledge of all risks.

Working with great clients and staff is the best thing about the job. I still get the same buzz from taking on new business or receiving appreciation from an existing client.

I have a love affair with rugby which began when I played for Exeter Rugby Club, as it was known then.

When I’m not taking my seat at Sandy Park, I enjoy photography, playing Golf and spending time with family and friends.
